Our Second Year

Rancho San Diego ASA was formed for the benefit of girls who desire to play softball at a fun, yet competitive level.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We have no paid staff and operate strictly on volunteers.

2009 REGISTRATION FEES
Registration is priced LOWER for 2009 as our League continues to grow!

$110	Cost for all ages except 6U. We don't hit you with fees after you register. Our registration includes Picture Package, shirt or jersey, visor, trophy, priceless memories and FUN! And We DO NOT have candy sales.
$105	Second child registration costs
WOW! FREE	6U Registration is FREE (must be done in person)

On line registration fees slightly higher to cover credit card fees

ASA has no residence boundaries. Anyone can register with any league.

Come out and learn new skills, see your softball friends and get ready for the upcoming season!

MORE WINTERBALL CLINIC INFO

We hope you have heard, but in case you have not, Rancho San Diego ASA’s 12U team girls All Star team qualified for the State Championship tournament in Lancaster, CA, the forth of July weekend. This is quite an impressive feat for a league in its second year of existence!

Rancho San Diego ASA is committed to providing the best possible environment and learning arena for the girls.

The Board has decided, after lengthy discussion, to have a modified Winter ball season this year.

First, we will be providing instruction to make each player better as opposed to games that offer very little instructional opportunity.
These instructions sessions will be every other weekend as opposed to a double header every weekend.
We will have well known softball players providing sessions. Stars like Erin Coyne, the Coach of the 2008 CIF Champions from Granite Hills HS. She and her coaches will be there on October 12^th…

The benefits of this and the reason the Board made this decision?

Many players (and I’m sure parents too), cannot commit to the every Sunday double header schedule for 9 weeks.
Winterball games are casual and low key, but games are not stopped to provide an instructional critique when necessary.

This concept is new and exciting. We strongly believe that it will make the ‘off season’ even better.

The schedule for this Winterball session will be forthcoming within a few days. We are a family organization. We will schedule around holidays and Charger games as much as possible. Please watch your email for these dates.

Our upcoming 3^rd year will be even more exciting. We have many ideas for the future. We hope that you understand the above changes.
